American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter Job in Stockton, CA

American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter Club Xcite, in affiliation with AB Staffing, is looking for an experienced American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter that is available for the 2026/2027 school year.

Requirements:

Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) Reliable and able to work independently in an itinerant role RID, EIPA, or comparable certification (preferred but not required) 4.0 or higher on CA state assessment score (EIPA, ESSE, NAD/ACCI)

Job Description:

Facilitate clear communication between students, teachers, and peers through ASL Support students' access to classroom lessons, school activities, and assessments Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrators to enhance learning Travel between schools across the district as assigned Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Overview:

Support K-12 students across the Redwood City School District. This full-time, itinerant role gives you the chance to help students access classroom instruction, activities, and assessments every day.

Essential Functions:

Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems. Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals. Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.

Salary:
