Responsibilities include:

Interpreting spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) during classroom instruction Facilitating clear and accurate communication for deaf or hard-of-hearing students Collaborating with teachers and staff to support student learning Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions Adhering to school policies and interpreter standards throughout the contract period

Qualifications:

Proficiency in American Sign Language Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in educational settings Strong understanding of classroom instructional language Ability to work full-time, typically 8 hours per day Commitment to starting immediately and continuing through the end of the school year
