Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in American Sign Language (ASL) or Interpreting National certification from either the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), such as NIC, or Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI) Ability to fulfill time-sensitive onboarding requirements for district credentialing Flexible to work on-site and travel between assigned schools
Responsibilities:
Deliver interpreting and transliteration services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing across school settings Collaborate with teachers and staff to foster inclusive communication Adapt skills to a variety of age groups and learning environments Maintain accurate timesheets and comply with district documentation protocols
