On Site Spanish Interpreter

Job description Overview We are seeking reliable and professional Spanish Interpreters to join our team as independent contractors. You will provide on-site interpretation services at medical appointments, primarily in workers' compensation cases throughout the Lexington, KY area. As a medical interpreter with us, you will accompany injured workers to their appointments and provide accurate, confidential interpretation between the patient and medical providers. Appointments may include initial evaluations, follow-up visits, physical therapy, and specialist consultations related to workplace injuries. DUTIES On-site appointments at medical offices, clinics, and rehabilitation centers Clients are injured workers navigating the workers' compensation process Professional and neutral interpretation is required at all times Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken fluency required) Prior medical interpretation experience preferred but not required All assignments include a 2-hour minimum pay guarantee, except no-shows and late cancellations which are compensated at 1 hour. Must have reliable transportation. Flexible scheduling — you choose your availability. Paid per assignment as an independent contractor
