Qualifications and Experience:
Current EIPA score of at least 3.5 (required) Willingness to obtain GaPSC interpreter licensure prior to or upon hire Experience in K-12 school settings, preferably with individual or small group assignments Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Professionalism and reliability in a school environment Commitment to fostering an inclusive educational experience
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct American Sign Language interpretation for a high school freshman in all classroom activities and school functions Facilitate clear communication between student, teachers, and peers Accurately interpret lectures, discussions, instructions, and social interactions Support the student's educational participation and engagement throughout the day Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards at all times
