Job Description

This is a REMOTE job opportunity that requires extensive travel throughout the State of Iowa. Do you have a passion for making Iowa's school systems the best they can be? Are you committed to making a positive impact on the lives you interact with every day? If so, our Client Services Representative position might be a good fit for you. The primary objectives of this position are to (1) recoup Federal funding for client schools' IEP/Special Education programs, (2) minimize the workload at our client schools by training and supporting their staff, and (3) comply with all applicable state and federal regulations related to School Based Medicaid Billing. This is a full-time position, with the following benefits: Starting Pay - $20.50-$21.75/hour, commensurate with experience Health insurance Health Savings Account w/company contribution Dental, Vision and Life insurance Nine paid holidays annually Paid vacation and sick time off Paid volunteer time off 401k with company match And more Primary Functions Include (but are not limited to): Assist school systems in retrieving federal funds for services provided to eligible students. Provide on-site training for school staff. Educate clients on the reimbursable activities the school performs for students to provide appropriate health services. Assist by providing guidance and testing of the Claims Tracking System (CTS). Become proficient or familiar with the process of billing school service claims to the state Medicaid. Keep up-to-date and ensure client compliance with all the applicable state and federal regulations related to Medicaid Direct billing services. Maintain positive internal and external client service relationships. Keep current with trends and developments related to essential job competencies. Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required. Qualifications include (but are not limited to): Must demonstrate effective communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively, and asking questions when clarification is needed. Must have excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be able to travel extensively within the state, with occasional overnight stays. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Professional demeanor on the phone, in person, and in written communications. Must be able to shift back and forth between two or more tasks. Must be knowledgeable and able to efficiently use web-based systems such as MS Office Suite, MS Teams, etc. Must be sensitive to the needs of the client and the professional duties of school staff. Must represent ClaimAid professionally at all times. Knowledge of school-based policy rules and processing requirements for programs is not initially required but would be helpful. Experience as a trainer is not initially required but would be helpful. Expected to meet all productivity requirements. Vision:
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens. Requires frequent bending, standing, walking (sometimes at a fast pace and for long periods of time), squatting, and sitting.
