This role involves interpreting spoken language from Vietnamese to English and vice versa, ensuring that messages are conveyed faithfully and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong linguistic abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for bridging cultural gaps. Duties Provide real-time interpretation between Vietnamese and English during meetings, conferences, and other interactions Translate written documents, reports, and correspondence from Vietnamese to English and vice versa with precision Support multilingual projects by interpreting in diverse settings such as community outreach, educational programs, or corporate events Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while managing interpretation tasks with professionalism Collaborate with team members to ensure clarity of messages and cultural appropriateness in all communications Utilize linguistic expertise to improve translation accuracy and adapt language nuances for different audiences Qualifications Fluency in Vietnamese (Tiếng Việt) and English, with excellent interpretation skills in both languages Proven experience in translation and interpretation within professional or community settings Strong understanding of linguistics principles, cultural sensitivities, and effective communication techniques Multilingual capabilities are preferred to support diverse language needs beyond Vietnamese and English Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to convey messages clearly and confidently under pressure Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in linguistics, translation studies, or related fields is highly desirable
