Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter Job Type Contract Make an impact as a Sign Language Interpreter working one-on-one with a student in a supportive educational environment near Franklin, IN. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year and offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, allowing professionals to develop meaningful connections while enhancing learning outcomes for their student.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Hold recognized certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English communication Previous experience in an educational setting or interpreting for school-aged children is highly desirable Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to tailor communication based on individual student needs Committed to maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating professionalism at all times
Core Responsibilities:
