Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Qualified Japanese Interpreter to help one of our clients in their plant for 1 year at 40 hour per week . In this role, you will serve as a vital communication bridge between Japanese-speaking visitors and English-speaking workers. Your expertise will enable seamless interpretation across various settings, including business meetings, conferences, and official events. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your linguistic talents in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Provide accurate and fluent interpretation between Japanese and English during meetings, conferences, and official engagements Facilitate clear communication for clients, vendors, and internal teams by translating spoken language in real-time Prepare for interpretation sessions by reviewing relevant documents and terminology to ensure precision Assist with written translation of documents when required, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy Support multilingual communication efforts by utilizing additional language skills such as American Sign Language or other languages if applicable Maintain detailed records of interpretation sessions and translations performed Collaborate with team members to improve interpretation processes and ensure high-quality service delivery Experience Proven experience as a Japanese interpreter or translator in professional settings Multilingual proficiency, with fluency in Japanese and English; additional languages such as American Sign Language are a plus Strong understanding of linguistics principles and effective communication skills Demonstrated ability to interpret accurately under pressure in diverse environments Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to different cultural contexts Prior experience with interpretation equipment or translation software is advantageous Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to bridging language barriers with enthusiasm and professionalism.
