Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful educational setting as an ASL Interpreter, providing crucial support to students and staff for the 2026-2027 school year. In this contract role, you will partner closely with teachers and education professionals, ensuring clear and accessible communication for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Your expertise in American Sign Language will make a tangible difference in the daily classroom experience, contributing to an inclusive school culture.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) required Certification as an ASL Interpreter or equivalent credentials preferred Experience supporting K-12 students in academic environments is highly desirable Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and educators Familiarity with education technology and interpreting in classroom, assembly, and extracurricular settings Ability to adapt to various grade levels and learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
