Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled on-site English-Dutch interpreters to support a high-profile FIFA-related assignment at the Kansas City International Airport. This role will focus on facilitating clear, accurate, and professional communication in a fast-paced international environment. We encourage interpreters located in Kansas, Missouri, and surrounding states to apply. Depending on the interpreter's distance from the assignment location, fuel reimbursement may be negotiated .

Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-person interpretation services in a dynamic airport setting. Accurately interpret spoken communication between English and Dutch while preserving meaning, tone, and context. Assist event personnel, staff, and travelers with communication as needed. Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a high-traffic, time-sensitive environment. Uphold strict confidentiality and professional interpreting standards. Demonstrate cultural awareness and excellent customer service skills in all interactions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Fluency in English and Dutch. Strong on-site interpretation skills, preferably in fast-paced, event, hospitality, or public environments. Excellent communication, comprehension, and active listening abilities. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism are critical for this assignment. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
