Hours:
Monday - Friday (available between the hours of 7:15 a.m.- 5:15 p.m.) 40 hours per week This position will provide professional interpreting services for clients in a dental clinic setting as a Spanish-language Interpreter.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the provision of care by interpreting from English to Spanish and Spanish to English Interview clients and obtain financial information, medical and personal data Assist department with administrative duties as time allows Maintain dental appointment schedule
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous or current experience interpreting in a professional setting. Fluency in English and Spanish required. Must pass Interpreter Assessment pre-hire.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to interpret from Spanish to English and English to Spanish Knowledge of medical terminology in both languages Thorough knowledge of standard office practices, procedures and office assistance techniques Our Mission To improve individual and community health through services, education, and collaborative action.
