Job Description
Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter Job Type All Job Types Make a meaningful difference in the academic journey of a young learner by serving as a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter in a supportive school environment. This full-time opportunity offers 40 hours per week, providing consistent, onsite support to an elementary student in need of 1:1 interpretation services. Your expertise in American Sign Language will bridge communication gaps and foster inclusion, ensuring the student fully participates in classroom activities, social interactions, and school-wide events. By working side by side with educators and staff, you'll play a key part in empowering this student's success.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid EIPA score of 3.0 or higher (required) Experience interpreting for children in educational settings Fluency in American Sign Language Positive, adaptable communication skills Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situationsKey Responsibilities:
