BlueCloud Staffing is seeking a dedicated Educational Sign Language Interpreter to support students in a school setting in Swanzey, New Hampshire for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time opportunity for an interpreter who is passionate about making education accessible and empowering students to reach their full potential.
Position Details
Full-time
Monday-Friday following the school calendar
2026-2027 school year
School-based position
Support one or more students in the classroom and throughout the school day
Responsibilities
Provide accurate, professional sign language interpreting between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and teachers, staff, and peers.
Facilitate communication during classroom instruction, school activities, meetings, and other educational settings.
Promote student independence while maintaining professional interpreting standards.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to support student success.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards for educational interpreters.
Qualifications
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
Experience interpreting in educational or K-12 settings preferred.
3.5 EIPA or better and/or RID certification preferred (or ability to meet New Hampshire school requirements).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with students and school staff.
Must successfully complete all required employment screenings and background clearances.
