Job Description

Accuracy Now, a social business enterprise of Catholic Charities Southwest Ohio is seeking a full-time Scheduling Specialist. Accuracy Now provides interpretation services, onsite and virtually, for healthcare, education, social service and other industries. The Scheduling Specialist is responsible for client services on a day to day basis, providing timely communication, scheduling interpretation appointments and maintaining positive relationships with clients and interpreters. In addition, this position will provide assistance with interpreter onboarding and credentialing.

Essential Job Functions:
Receive incoming calls for the department. Answer questions or direct calls to the appropriate staff member. Maintain positive relations with existing and potential consumers. Maintain the scheduling system updated for consumers and contract interpreters. Act as the scheduling system "Super User" to ensure data is maintained, and accurate and consumer needs are met and tracked. Prepare monthly data reports based on scheduling activity. Receive and communicate consumer complaints. Assist with problem resolution under the direction of the Language Services Director. Ensure all appointments have an interpreter assigned and provide the service requester with pertinent information in a timely fashion. Ensure the interpreters have pertinent information needed to complete their assignments. Assist with onboarding and training the interpreters with using the scheduling system website and mobile site. Assist the Language Services Director with verifying appointments' status for interpreters' payroll and customer billing purposes. Assist with interpreter onboarding and credentialing. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
1. High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred 2. Excellent knowledge and skills in customer service principles and practices 3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and database management 5. Detail oriented 7. Ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively. 8. Effective problem solver to develop solutions to ensure scheduling coverage 9. Prior experience in the interpretation field with fluency with oral and written foreign languages preferred

Physical Demands:
Must be able to meet the following physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: Use hands to manipulate, handle, feel, and control items or equipment; Talk to other employees/clients and hear them; See and be able to read, write, and interpret written documents; Occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
