BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional in the N. Philadelphia area. BAYADA's special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability (Autism, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other diagnoses) to help them reach their full potential. We currently have an opening for an ASL Interpreter/Caregiver in the zip code: 19135 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Weekends) 5:00 AM-7:30 AM & 5:00 PM-11:00 PM (Monday-Friday) Qualifications for our
ASL Interpreter/Caregiver Position:
One year + experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities High school diploma or equivalent (18+) Ability to work various shift types and locations while being adaptable and flexible Must be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) Able to provide direct care (bathing, changing, dressing, incontinence care) How You'll Make an
Impact:
Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming) Accompany clients on errands and appointments Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation Participate in community integration activities
Compensation & Schedule:
Competitive pay rate starting at $18/hr. Short commute times (we try to match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)
