Seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Legal Translator. This position is primarily responsible for translating, reviewing, and verifying legal, medical, and case-related documents between English and Spanish. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. This is a REMOTE opportunity. Candidates MUST reside in California.
Responsibilities:
- Translate documents between English and Spanish Review and verify translated documents for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Assist with legal and case-related documentation
- Maintain organized electronic files and case records
- Communicate with clients and team members in both English and Spanish as needed
- Support attorneys and paralegals with administrative and case-related tasks
Qualifications:
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish
- Excellent grammar, proofreading, and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and computer-based systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Prior legal, paralegal, translation, or law firm experience
- Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience
