Job Description

Domestic Violence Facilitator (Spanish) Positive Steps Overview Description Job Description We have an immediate opening for a Spanish Speaking Domestic Violence/Batterer's Intervention Program Facilitator.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively facilitate D.V. groups utilizing our curriculum integrating CBT counseling skills. Completion of group notes following each session with sufficient detail for appropriate interpretation for progress reports to be completed. Follow policies and procedures. Treat participants with dignity and respect.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum requirement of 40 hours of court-approved Domestic Violence training and certification. (Preferred) Experience with Domestic Violence group facilitation or shadowing group sessions for a minimum 104 documented hours. (Preferred) Registered with BBS (Required) Maintain annual certification, with 16 hours of continuing education units Ability to speak Spanish clearly and fluently. Ability to work independently, without continuous supervision.
