• Part time, hours varied.
• Must be flexible and available to work various hours including weekends.

Duties:

• Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
• Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate people according to their needs.
• Create, maintain, and enter information into databases.
• Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing.
• Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.
• Develop marketing strategies to compete with other individuals or companies who sell insurance.
• Provide customers with information to staff, so they may explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sales of insurance plans.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records.
• Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent GED.
• Must have 6 months insurance sales, customer service experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish to communicate with Spanish-speaking customers.
• Basic computer skills.
