JOB SUMMARY
The Counselor Clerk is required to follow all district and campus rules and guidelines as applicable. The Counselor Clerk will collaborate with campus counselors to determine duties that are needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cooperate with other members of the staff Employ the use of technology to scan documents, save documents to computer, and upload into new system Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to adapt Demonstrate human relations skillsthat are professional, ethical and responsible Maintain confidentiality regarding student information Performs related duties as required
MENTAL DEMANDS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
Tools/Equipment Used:
Personal computer and peripherals; standard instructional equipment
Posture:
Prolonged standing; frequent kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion:
Frequent walking
Lifting:
Regular light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)
Environment:
Work is located in a classroom environment; must have ability to move from one location to another throughout the district; regular exposure to noise
Mental Demands:
Maintain emotional control under stress; work prolonged or irregular hours
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION
High school diploma or equivalent required
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) Ability to maintain emotional control understress Ability to use different technology Computer knowledge is necessary Ability to use a computer, copier, telephone, and scanner
