$25.00-$50.00 per hour, commensurate with experience Overview The Disability Resource Center (DRC) is seeking experienced Sign Language Interpreters. DRC Interpreters provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting for Deaf and/or hard-of hearing students, faculty, staff, and/or visitors at USU. Responsibilities Provide ASL interpretation for USU sponsored classes and events. Prepare for classes by reviewing course material or other relevant information. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

1 - 3 years ASL interpreter experience. ASL interpreting experience in a higher educational setting.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to interact with students, faculty and others in a professional way. Understanding of, and commitment to, relevant ethical codes. Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. Ability to work within a changing schedule. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service skills.
