Sign Language Interpreter

Pediatric Therapies, Inc. is seeking an in-person, full-time, certified Sign Language Interpreter specializing in 1:1 school-based service. Services will take place in a school setting at one elementary school located in Mecklenburg, VA, and is ideal for licensed professionals with expertise in providing individualized communication support to students. Qualifications Current licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter Demonstrated experience in 1:1 pediatric interpreting services Commitment to full-time, on-site work in Mecklenburg, VA Willingness to consider travel candidates interested in this location Candidates with a passion for pediatric interpretation and the required qualifications are encouraged to apply Responsibilities Collaborating with educators and support staff to facilitate effective communication Delivering accurate and sensitive sign language interpretation for individual pediatric students Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all relevant regulations and best practices in educational settings Supporting a productive and inclusive learning environment for students with hearing impairments Pediatric Therapies, Inc. is a local to Chesterfield, VA contract company providing SLP, OT, PT and school psychology services to 15 school districts in VA.
