Pay:
$22/hour
Location:
Buffalo, WV Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Job Duties:
Interpret English to Japanese and Japanese to English during meetings Translate Japanese documents into English daily, including operation manuals and technical engineering documents Translate English documents into Japanese as needed, including contracts and customer/supplier correspondence Assist Japanese visitors with relocation, transportation, and personal matters Maintain proper documentation and record keeping Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Associate's degree in business or related field preferred
Experience & Technical Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required Ability to follow regulations, standards, safety, and environmental procedures Well versed in commonly used business and technical terminology Excellent communication and organizational skills required
Language Skills:
Fluent in both English and Japanese Ability to read, write, speak, and understand both languages professionally Additional language skills preferred
Computer/Software Skills:
Excellent computer skills in both English and Japanese software environments Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel spreadsheets
