Part-Time Audio, Lighting & Video Technician (Hotel AV) Code Four - 1.0 Newport Beach, CA Job Details Part-time $20 - $26 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Collaboration Moving Attention to detail Computer networking Event customer service Hotel experience Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio, Lighting, and Video Technicians to support live events and meetings within a hotel environment. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting, delivers high-level "white glove" service, and takes pride in executing flawless event experiences. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and strike (tear down) audio, lighting, and video equipment for events of varying sizes and complexity Provide real-time technical support during meetings, conferences, and special events Ensure all equipment is tested, functional, and presented to the highest standard before event start times Deliver exceptional, client-facing service with professionalism and attention to detail Collaborate with hotel staff, event planners, and clients to meet specific event requirements Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively with minimal disruption Maintain organization and cleanliness of AV storage and event spaces Follow all safety procedures and best practices when handling equipment Qualifications Prior experience in audio, video, and lighting production (hotel or live event environment preferred) Strong working knowledge of AV equipment including microphones, mixers, projectors, LED walls, and lighting systems Ability to set up and operate basic to intermediate AV systems independently Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs) and be on your feet for extended periods Preferred Skills Experience in hotel or corporate event environments Familiarity with digital audio consoles and video switching systems Basic networking knowledge for AV systems A polished, professional demeanor suited for high-end client interaction

$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
