Job Description
JDL KeyEdge LLC is preparing the launch of its U.S. business activities and is looking to connect with qualified lighting installation technicians and electrical subcontractors in the Miami area. Our company works with real estate professionals, developers, property managers, condo associations, architects, designers, and business clients. We provide a complete lighting service, from project identification and lighting concept to delivery coordination, follow-up, and installation. This is a future contract opportunity, with work expected to begin around October or November 2026, depending on the company's operational launch timeline. Role Overview The selected contractor will support the installation of lighting fixtures and related lighting solutions on residential, commercial, and real estate-related projects. We are looking for a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented technician who is comfortable working on-site, coordinating with project teams, and delivering clean, high-quality installations. Main Responsibilities Install lighting fixtures and related lighting products on client sites Review project instructions, layouts, and installation requirements before starting work Coordinate with JDL KeyEdge, clients, property managers, or site contacts as needed Ensure installations are completed cleanly, safely, and professionally Handle basic on-site adjustments and report any technical issue before or during installation Provide updates, photos, or completion notes after each project when required Maintain professional communication and appearance on client sites Follow applicable safety rules, building requirements, and licensing regulations Profile We are looking for an experienced lighting installer, electrician, or electrical subcontractor with strong attention to detail and a professional approach. Experience with lighting fixtures, decorative lighting, LED products, residential projects, commercial spaces, condos, model units, real estate projects, or interior design projects would be a strong plus. Requirements Previous experience in lighting installation, electrical work, or related installation services Ability to work on-site in Miami and surrounding areas Own tools and transportation preferred Licensed and insured when required by applicable regulations Reliable, organized, and able to meet project deadlines Professional communication with clients and project contacts Ability to work independently and provide clear updates after each job
