Candidates must be based in the Chicago area or able to commute to McCormick Place. Travel and hotel accommodations are not provided. About the Company Guangdong NNT Pneumatic Technology Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer of pneumatic and automation components based in China. Our products include solenoid valves, cylinders, pressure control products, flow-related products, and other components used in industrial automation and manufacturing. We have exhibited in the U.S. for several years at major industry trade shows, including SEMICON West and Automate. This year, we will be exhibiting at Automate 2026 in Chicago and are looking for a reliable and professional Trade Show Assistant to support our booth. Position Overview We are hiring a temporary Trade Show Assistant / Booth Assistant to help support our team during Automate 2026 at McCormick Place. The ideal candidate is outgoing, professional, proactive, and comfortable speaking with visitors in a trade show environment. A background or interest in engineering, manufacturing, automation, technical sales, marketing, business, supply chain, or international trade is preferred, but deep technical knowledge is not required. Training will be provided before the show.

Pre-show training will be provided via Zoom or in person, depending on location Responsibilities Welcome and engage booth visitors in a professional and friendly manner Briefly introduce the company and direct visitors to the appropriate team member Present basic company and product information after training Help collect business cards, customer information, and visitor notes Organize brochures, catalogs, samples, and booth materials Assist with daily booth preparation and basic booth operations Help manage visitor flow during busy periods Support light setup and teardown if needed Lift, move, and organize light product samples or booth materials when needed Represent the company in a professional and positive way Requirements Currently enrolled in a college/university or have completed a bachelor's degree Fluent in English Outgoing, friendly, and confident communicator Professional, reliable, and punctual Comfortable approaching people and starting conversations Able to stand and walk for extended periods during the event Physically able to lift and carry light equipment or booth materials Must be available during the Automate 2026 show dates, June 22-25 Must be based in the Chicago area or able to commute to McCormick Place Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in trade shows, events, customer service, hospitality, sales, marketing, or booth support Background or interest in engineering, automation, manufacturing, supply chain, technical sales, or international business Bilingual English/Mandarin is a plus, but not required Experience with B2B communication or lead collection is a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay: $18-$25/hr, based on experience and responsibilities Daily lunch provided during full show days Pre-show training provided Opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a major U.S. automation and manufacturing trade show Exposure to international business, advanced manufacturing, B2B communication, and trade show operations Potential opportunity to support future U.S. trade shows with our company To Apply Please submit your resume and a brief self-introduction.
