Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lighting Auditor to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for evaluating lighting systems across various facilities to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Your expertise will help optimize lighting performance, control costs, and uphold quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to small to large-scale construction projects by ensuring lighting installations meet rigorous standards and client expectations. Duties Conduct comprehensive inspections of lighting installations on construction sites, verifying adherence to NEC (National Electrical Code) and project specifications. Utilize advanced tools such as Bluebeam for detailed documentation, reporting, and drawing reviews. Collaborate with project managers, electrical contractors, and clients to assess lighting needs and identify areas for improvement or cost savings. Perform detailed construction estimating related to lighting components, including pricing analysis and cost control measures. Negotiate contracts and scope of work with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards are met. Review construction schedules and coordinate inspection activities to minimize delays while maintaining safety protocols. Prepare detailed reports on lighting system performance, deficiencies, and recommendations for corrective actions. Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, including NEC standards, and aligns with project management goals for timely completion. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating, project management, or electrical inspection within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, lighting technology, and installation practices on construction sites. Skilled in using various software review, markup, and documentation processes. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills.
