Lighting and Sound Technician Town of Garner - 4.7 Garner, NC Job Details Part-time $20.60 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Live event AV production projects High school diploma or GED Lighting control system operation Live production performance Full Job Description The Garner Performing Arts Center is seeking motivated technicians equally good with equipment and people for occasional work, primarily nights and weekends with some daytime shifts.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Operates audio, lighting, video and streaming equipment, and/or works backstage during events as directed by the Performing Arts Center Supervisor Prepare facility for program and participant use Sets up and tears down sound, lighting, video/streaming, and rigging equipment as needed to meet the needs of each event Interacts directly with clients to ensure all event needs are met Enforce the policies and procedures of the facility Performs facility maintenance as needed Performs other related tasks as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must: Be at least 18 years of age. Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in live event production is required. Experience in the operation of analog audio consoles and digital lighting consoles is required. Be able to safely lift 50 lbs. and move up to 100 lbs. General stagecraft knowledge is preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
