Job Description
We're looking for a skilled DP to shoot a wedding. However, this isn't a typical wedding video. The project is being approached as a short documentary: cinematic, observational, and narrative-driven. Think verité coverage, intentional b-roll, and short sit-down interviews woven into a cohesive story. What we're looking for:
- A documentary background with a strong, distinctive visual sensibility
- Confident in low-light environments (ceremony and reception lighting will be unpredictable)
- Experienced with gimbal operation
- Comfortable executing up a basic lighting setup on the fly when needed
- Capable of managing a simple in-camera audio workflow (camera-mounted shotgun mic and wireless lav) The gear: We provide a Lumix S5 package (with a few primes, some LEDs and mics).
