Entertainment Technician

Summary of Job:

You will support the Entertainment team by ensuring all shows are running efficiently and on time. You will be responsible for operating sound/light boards during performances. You will also be asked to identify and repair all malfunctioning sound and/or lighting equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Put forth best effort to present a safe, entertaining, and professional show Perform other duties as assigned by Six Flags Management and the Park sound/lighting technician Execute show in a safe manner as it was designed Wear appropriate uniform and behave in the manner that fits management Comply with all Great Escape Resort and Six Flags policies and procedures Provide services in a fast and safe manner Maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment for guests and team member Maintain all of the guidelines outlined in the department Know all the safety, emergency and evacuation procedures for the park

Skills and Qualifications:

Must be 18 years old Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time Must possess an understanding of production sound/lighting equipment Must possess a valid driver's license Be able to handle heights Be able to carry and lift at least 50lbs Be able to work flexible hours, night, weekends and some holidays within the limits of applicable Federal, State, and facility labor laws and guidelines

Pay Rate:

$16.00-$19.00 per hour

Other Functions :

All other duties assigned or necessary to support the resort as a whole.
