This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to communicate well with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Quotation Preparation
Review project blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to prepare precise, competitive quotations aligned with customer requirements and company standards. Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with customers, manufacturers, and sales representatives to support collaboration and drive successful outcomes. Customer Communication
Provide proactive and clear updates to customers, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience throughout the quoting process. Product Knowledge & Inventory Awareness
Maintain a thorough understanding of product offerings, inventory availability, and industry trends. Participate in training to expand product knowledge. Pricing & Contract Negotiation
Obtain competitive pricing by negotiating contracts with manufacturers and vendors while ensuring accurate and current documentation. Team Collaboration
Partner effectively with internal team members, sharing insights and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications Experience in quotations, estimating, or a related role (lighting or construction industry preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems). Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
