This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to communicate well with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Quotation Preparation
  • Review project blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to prepare precise, competitive quotations aligned with customer requirements and company standards. Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with customers, manufacturers, and sales representatives to support collaboration and drive successful outcomes. Customer Communication
  • Provide proactive and clear updates to customers, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience throughout the quoting process. Product Knowledge & Inventory Awareness
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of product offerings, inventory availability, and industry trends. Participate in training to expand product knowledge. Pricing & Contract Negotiation
  • Obtain competitive pricing by negotiating contracts with manufacturers and vendors while ensuring accurate and current documentation. Team Collaboration
  • Partner effectively with internal team members, sharing insights and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications Experience in quotations, estimating, or a related role (lighting or construction industry preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems). Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
From $50,000.00 per year
