Position Overview:

The Irrigation & Lighting Technician is responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and installing irrigation and low-voltage lighting systems for residential and commercial properties. This role works closely with maintenance and enhancement crews to ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair irrigation systems including valves, wiring, leaks, sprinkler heads, drip systems, and controllers.
• Perform seasonal services such as startups, winterizations, adjustments, and system audits.
• Evaluate system performance and recommend water efficiency improvements.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage outdoor lighting systems.
• Assist with landscape enhancements and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain, clean, organize, and fully stock work vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Follow all company safety procedures and protocols.
• Accurately document work completed, recommendations, and service notes.
• Represent the company professionally on all job sites.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of irrigation and/or outdoor lighting experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Landscape maintenance or enhancement experience is a plus.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a must.
• Ability to obtain certifications as needed (irrigation certification is a plus).
• Work environment & physical requirements.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and work vehicles.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the day.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
