JOB SUMMARY
// We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lighting Event Lead to join our team. As a Lighting Event Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the lighting setup and execution of events. Your role will involve coordinating with producers, clients, technical directors, managing lighting equipment, and ensuring a seamless event experience.WHO WE ARE

Together, with our clients, we conceptualize, design, produce, build, staff, operate and manage all aspects of an event.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
// You will primarily be assisting in the lighting design of live corporate events and will also regularly run a lighting console (grandMA) on show-site. You will be assisting with the quality control of inventory across lighting, rigging, and power. While on-site you will be the subject matter expert for all elements related to lighting, rigging, and power (primarily lighting). You will work closely with the Lighting Department Manager, the Warehouse Manager, and others to pull orders, load/unload trucks, maintain inventories, and provide various event support when necessary.QUALITIES AND SKILLS
// Live event lighting experience with a minimum of two years of being responsible for the execution of lighting elements for an event Familiarity with or willingness to learn Vectorworks, Lightwrite, grandMA consoles, Understanding of Power and DMX signal flow. Previous on-site crew management experience Ability to work well with others and a professional demeanor Excellent self-motivation skills/entrepreneurial spirit Exceptional organization skills Ability to multi-task, wear many hats Ability to maintain composure in a sometimes high-stress, fast-paced environment Flexible scheduleCORE RESPONSIBILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
// Pre Event Take ownership of the success of the event Work with Producer and TD to understand scope (Production meetings) Create Design (think through how to make this event the best it can be) Provide input and verify items in Inventory Management Software (IE Lightning) in coordination with the Department Manager Flag manager for any discrepancies or cross-rental needs Create show documentation (Vectorworks drawings, Power calculations, etc…) Share show documentation with the on-site crew Help Aisle Lead to ensure that all items are Q/C'd, pulled, and loaded On Event Be an expert and resource (You will be looked to for gear questions and guidance). Lead the department crew and oversee the set crew Have a quick overview meeting with your team before you start load-in Jump in with other teams when needed Execute a successful event Oversee the strike of your department's gear Help other departments with their strike, and assist in loading trucks Post Event Unload trucks from your event Assist in Q/C and ensure all items have been returned. Post-event review Non Event Work with the Department Manager to improve our processes Assist with any gear maintenance needed Find opportunities for training. Work with the Manager to accomplish Assist with warehouse duties (ie. pulling/loading equipment even on shows that you are not assigned to) Other duties as assignedWHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING AT WEBB
