Job Description

Huntingdon College, a private liberal arts college of the United Methodist Church with 172 years of history, is accepting applications for the hiring of a Director of Sports Information.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for every major area of focus within sports information, but most importantly, the promotion & celebration of our 22 sponsored sports, and the students & coaches who embody those programs at Huntingdon College. Other areas of focus are included but not limited to: Website & social media maintenance, photography & live-stream setup, managing student interns & student workers, game day stats, recaps, records & historical data management. It is the responsibility of the Director of Sports Information to operate according to NCAA Division III, Collegiate Conference of the South, and College rules and regulations.

The successful candidate must be committed to the NCAA Division III philosophy and the role of athletics within a private college. The candidate should possess general knowledge of college athletics and statistic taking. The candidate must possess adequate communication, verbal, and written skills, knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign and Photoshop), and knowledge of statistical programs (NCAA LiveStats Genius, Presto). The position is a full-time, 12-month position with benefits. The successful completion of a background check will be required before employment is finalized.
