This energetic role involves collaborating with young performers, guiding musical rehearsals, and ensuring a vibrant, engaging performance that inspires both children and audiences alike. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and strong leadership skills to create an unforgettable theatrical experience for all participants. Responsibilities Lead rehearsals focused on vocal technique, choreography integration, and ensemble cohesion to foster a lively and confident cast. Collaborate closely with directors, choreographers, and stage managers to synchronize musical elements with overall production goals. Provide guidance on vocal health, diction, pitch control, and performance energy to enhance each child's musical expression. Coordinate with teaching staff or instructors to support classroom integration of musical activities related to the production. Oversee the use of musical equipment and resources, maintaining a safe and organized rehearsal environment. Skills Extensive experience in curriculum development tailored for children's musical education and theater productions. Strong background in teaching music, singing techniques, or theater arts with a focus on working with children or early childhood education. Proven classroom management skills to maintain discipline while fostering a fun learning environment. Knowledge of theater production processes including choreography, staging, and technical coordination. Excellent communication skills to motivate young performers and collaborate effectively with team members. Experience in behavior management and childhood development principles to support diverse learning needs.
