Based in LA, we are a revenue-backed, fast-growing company entering our next phase of growth. The Role We are hiring a Director of Fulfillment & Production to own one of the most operationally critical functions as we scale. You will oversee three distinct operational tracks: the fulfillment of custom products, the build-out and launch of a domestic custom production operation, and the transition of high-volume fulfillment to a third-party logistics partner. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Operations, you will help scale the team, systems, and operational infrastructure to support a growing custom business

• while serving as a key operational voice on the operations team and holding our fulfillment operations to the performance standards our customers expect.

What you will own Fulfillment & Inventory Management Own end-to-end fulfillment operations, ensuring products are received, verified, and shipped on time, accurately, and in full across all channels. Maintain inventory accuracy and health across all product tracks, collaborating with supply and demand planning teams to align replenishment, production schedules, and stock positioning with forecasted demand. Monitor inbound shipment timelines and identify supply continuity risks, coordinating with internal teams to prevent fulfillment disruptions. Manage rush order prioritization and ensure data integrity across all fulfillment systems from inbound receiving through final shipment. Serve as the primary point of contact for 3PL fulfillment, owning the ongoing performance relationship across all standard product channels. Enforce SLAs and KPIs

• including order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and carrier compliance
• and lead renegotiation or provider changes as business needs evolve. Domestic Production
• Build & Launch Partner with the internal team to build and launch dot.cards' domestic custom production capability
• a new, premium offering for on-demand personalized product orders.

Design and implement the end-to-end production workflow, developing SOPs, quality standards, traceability systems, and production planning processes for a high-mix, low-volume environment. Contribute to the evaluation and selection of production equipment and technology. Hire, develop, and lead the production team required to operate and scale the domestic custom capability. Team Building & Process Excellence Build and lead the Inglewood production and fulfillment team, defining org structure, hiring as the operation scales, and setting clear performance expectations. Foster a culture of precision and continuous improvement through structured onboarding, regular evaluations, and ongoing coaching that retains skilled employees. Establish and maintain a performance framework spanning all operational tracks, tracking fulfillment accuracy, turnaround time, production throughput, and 3PL SLA adherence. Proactively identify and resolve workflow inefficiencies, applying lean principles to build solutions that are durable and scalable as the business grows. What we are looking for 5-8 years of operations experience across fulfillment, production, or supply chain, with at least 3 years in a director-level or senior leadership role. Experience managing fulfillment for custom or made-to-order products, including coordination with overseas production or factory partners. Demonstrated ability to assist in building a production operation from the ground up

• SOPs, team, equipment, and quality systems.

Track record managing a 3PL partner at a strategic level, including onboarding, SLA ownership, performance management, and negotiation. Experience with inventory management and supply and demand planning in a multi-channel fulfillment environment. Proficiency with ShipStation and Shopify; comfort working across Airtable, Google Sheets; familiarity with Amazon FBA and TikTok Shop fulfillment channels. Strong analytical foundation

• you manage by data, build reporting infrastructure, and use KPIs to drive decisions. A builder's mindset and excellent cross-functional communication skills
• equally effective on a production floor and in a leadership planning conversation.

Nice to have Hands-on or oversight experience with laser etching, UV printing, four-color printing, or comparable on-demand customization equipment. Background in branded merchandise, promotional products, personalized hardware, or custom packaging. Experience managing overseas factory relationships or coordinating inbound shipments from international production partners. Familiarity with serialized product tracking and order-level traceability across multiple platforms. Prior experience at a DTC brand, consumer tech company, or high-growth startup; experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. Compensation & Benefits $110K

• $140K base salary + performance bonus.

Onsite work environment in Los Angeles, CA (Inglewood).
