What you will be doing Albertsons Media Collective Team Background The Media Solutions Performance team anchored in driving measurable incremental sales. We focus on delivering actionable insights and sustained growth for our CPG partners by: Driving category growth and increasing share across trip missions Increasing traffic to both physical stores and digital properties Enabling localized strategies that align with merchant priorities and store footprint Supporting merchants with data-backed category and media strategies Our operating principles emphasize: CPG Revenue accountability: Driving measurable incremental revenue and proving impact with data Insight leadership: Empowering stakeholders with clear, actionable media intelligence and strategy frameworks Execution excellence: Protecting Albertsons shopper experience through precision in localized execution To ensure performance integrity: Every media plan is outcome-optimized Every media upfront, annual plan and business review is insightful, accurate, and decision-ready Every campaign launches flawlessly in alignment with strategy Every dollar is tracked and attributed Every insight leads to clear, actionable next steps Main responsibilities: Lead revenue growth for Albertsons Media Collective by developing and executing segment-specific media strategies that drive measurable incremental sales Shape annual communications plans, including key narratives, success metrics, and client-specific learning agendas aligned to business outcomes Deliver compelling, insight-driven Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) that identify optimization opportunities and unlock new revenue streams Oversee end-to-end media performance across owned, search, social, programmatic, and in-store channels, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives Direct and develop media planning and activation teams, ensuring consistent execution based on the strategy and operational efficiency needs Establish and scale media strategy frameworks, best practices, and training programs to drive cross-functional alignment and capability building Partner with Sales and Account Management to accelerate revenue by providing strategic media expertise in merchant and CPG meetings Contribute to product innovation by informing new media solutions, go-to-market playbooks, and marketing materials with performance insights Champion a continuous learning agenda by codifying insights from campaigns, pilots, and tests into scalable playbooks adopted across teams Drive team performance through clear goals, accountability structures, and a focus on revenue impact and customer value tied to capacity Build and mentor high-performing teams through structured onboarding, ongoing coaching, and career development initiatives Foster a culture of precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement to maintain credibility with internal stakeholders and CPG partners We are looking for candidates who possess the following: Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights. Strong communication skills with experience influencing across multiple teams and levels. Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high‑quality work in fast‑paced environments. Experience developing scalable processes, best practices, or training content. Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams. We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred. 7 plus years of experience in digital media planning/activation within retail, e commerce, grocery, or CPG. Strong understanding of digital ad platforms, measurement tools, and full funnel media performance.
