Sports Program Director

Duties Develop, organize, and oversee a diverse range of sports programs and events tailored to different age groups and skill levels Lead, supervise, and motivate staff and volunteers to deliver exceptional guest services and ensure smooth event operations Manage daily shift schedules, coordinate logistics, and oversee facility operations to maximize efficiency and safety Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive experience for all participants and spectators Maintain accurate records through report writing on program participation, event outcomes, staffing logs, and safety incidents Oversee budget management including cash handling during events, procurement of supplies, and resource allocation Collaborate with local organizations, schools, or community groups to expand program reach and foster partnerships Qualifications Proven experience in events management within a hospitality setting is highly desirable Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or assistant manager experience in a customer-focused environment Strong background in sports or recreation programming with familiarity in managing shift schedules and guest services Excellent report writing skills for documenting program activities, incident reports, and operational summaries Management experience that includes supervising staff or volunteers effectively while maintaining high standards of service Knowledge of cash handling procedures combined with restaurant or resort hospitality experience is advantageous Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Join us as our Sports Program Director to create memorable sporting experiences that inspire community engagement!
