From concept to completion, we create video content that drives results for brands. With an in-house team of editors, directors, producers, and access to studio space and equipment, we deliver quick and polished turnarounds for agencies and brands across the country. Fat Happy is part of the Five to Sixty family, which also includes Curveball Films, a premium commercial production company representing top-tier directors for high-end brand campaigns. Across all three companies, our clients include Pepsi, Spotify, iFIT, Purina, and many more. We are looking for a Creative Coordinator to join our New Orleans team on a hybrid schedule. This role is primarily focused on building director reels, creating pitch materials for creative commercial opportunities, and keeping the director submission process organized and efficient. About 20% of the role will involve general office coordination and administrative support. Creative (80%) Build and edit director reels and sizzle reels for pitching on commercial opportunities using existing footage libraries Create polished pitch decks, one-sheets, and supporting materials for director submissions to agencies and brands Coordinate and schedule meetings between directors and our executive producers, ensuring the right directors are paired with the right opportunities Maintain organized libraries of director work, footage, and pitch materials so the team can move quickly when opportunities come in Track the status of active submissions, bids, and creative opportunities across multiple projects Research and stay current on commercial advertising trends, new directors, and competitive work to inform creative recommendations Operations & Administration (20%) Support day-to-day office coordination and administrative tasks Help manage scheduling, calendars, and internal communications Assist with organizing files, contracts, and project documentation Coordinate logistics for meetings, calls, and occasional production-related needs Contribute to maintaining and improving internal systems and workflows You have 1-3 years of experience in production, advertising, or a creative agency environment You have a strong eye for visual storytelling and understand what makes a great commercial. You watch ads for fun and can articulate why certain work stands out You are proficient in video editing (Premiere Pro or similar) and presentation tools (Keynote, Google Slides, Canva) You are extremely organized and detail-oriented. You can manage multiple projects simultaneously without things falling through the cracks You are a self-starter who takes initiative and doesn't need to be told what to do next You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-team environment where priorities can shift quickly You are based in or willing to relocate to New Orleans, with the ability to work from our office on a hybrid schedule Familiarity with tools like Slack, Monday.com, Vimeo, Dropbox, Frame.io, and Google Workspace is a plus Experience with Simian or other reel management platforms is a bonus This is a unique opportunity to get deep exposure to the commercial production world, working directly alongside executive producers and learning how directors get signed, pitched, and awarded major brand campaigns.
