We combine cutting-edge technology, global sourcing expertise, and award-winning creative services to deliver customized marketing solutions that drive impact. Position Summary Stran and Company, Inc. is currently seeking candidates to fill a Director of Talent Development position. The Director of Talent Development will own how Stran attract, onboard, and develop people, so hiring is consistent, onboarding is smooth, and our culture scales intentionally. Essential Duties and Responsibilities in this role 1. Talent Acquisition (≈50% of role) I. Accountability i. Own hiring for ~25 roles/year (new + backfill) ii. Create role scorecards with hiring managers iii. Run structured interview processes iv. Manage postings, screening, and coordination v. Ensure hiring decisions are data-informed, not gut-only II. Success metrics i. Time-to-fill is predictable ii. Better quality candidates at final round iii. Hiring managers spend less time "figuring it out" iv. Reduced early turnover (first 6-12 months) 2. Onboarding & Early Success (≈30%) I. Accountability i. Design a standardized Day 1-30 onboarding program ii. Ensure systems, access, and training are ready iii. Run 30/60/90-day check-ins iv. Partner with managers on early performance expectations II. Success metrics i. New hires ramp faster ii. Fewer early exits iii. Managers get fewer "what do I do now?" questions 3. Culture & Engagement (≈20%) I. Accountability i. Clarify and reinforce company values ii. Support managers with feedback and tough conversations iii. Own engagement surveys and follow-ups iv. Improve internal communication cadence v. Commitment to fostering inclusion and belonging in the workplace. II. Success metrics i. Clear behavioral expectations ii. Managers handle people issues earlier iii. Employees feel connected, not anonymous Desired Skill set 5-10 years' experience in Talent Ops / Talent. Experience with personality and work-style assessment tools. Has owned hiring for a 75-200-person company. Built onboarding programs from scratch. Comfortable influencing senior leaders. Thrive in a fast-paced environment. Computer skills needed include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and Outlook. Trustworthy team player with strong ethical standards and moral compass. Ability to network with industry leaders, recruiters, and talent agencies.
Compensation:
$100,000 - $120,000 a year Benefits The Healthcare package we offer at Stran is (3) Aetna PPO plans. Stran also offers a section 125 Flexible Spending Account, Dental Insurance, Group Life Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability and Vision Insurance. Stran offers many ancillary insurances for you and other family members, critical illness, and accident insurance. You are eligible to participate on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Stran contributes 65% of the monthly health insurance premium and 35% to your vision and dental insurance. New for 2026, Stran now offers employee paid pet insurance! You will be eligible to enroll in the Stran 401K retirement plan and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) on the 1st of the month following 90 days of employment. Stran will provide a company match of 3% of your annual compensation for your 401K. Stran offers Unlimited Personal Time off. You must give at least two weeks' notice prior to taking time off whenever possible. All time off is at your manager's discretion and must be approved before any time off is taken. Stran offers a generous holiday schedule each year, for 2026 Stran offers 11 paid holidays.
