Webster University's Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts invites applications for the position of Guest D irector for Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts' Fall P roduction of
IN THE GREEN
Directors set their artistic vision for a show , including selecting the student cast, collaborating with the team of student designers, leading rehearsals, blocking /choreographing the action, and guiding the overall aesthetic of the production .Essential Duties Guest directors will:
- Attend semester auditions to select the student cast members
- Lead rehearsals
- Monitor production's pacing
- Collaborate with production team, including student stage managers
- Collaborate with team of student designers
- Collaborate with producer and faculty to ensure artistic process aligns with educational goals of the department
- Deliver a high-caliber production Bachelor's degree and/or extensive experience in the field
