  • Part-time Job Summary The Sports Camp Director is responsible for the overall planning, organization, and management of a sports camp program.
This role oversees daily operations, staff supervision, participant safety, program development, and communication with athletes, parents, and camp personnel. The director ensures that all activities are conducted in a safe, positive, and engaging environment while promoting skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and oversee all camp activities, schedules, and events. Train, supervise, and evaluate counselors and support staff. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by enforcing camp policies and procedures. Develop age-appropriate sports instruction and recreational programming. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff. Address participant concerns, behavioral issues, and emergency situations as needed. Experience/Qualifications Experience in sports program management, coaching, recreation, education, or youth development. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of sports instruction, safety protocols, and youth engagement. CPR, First Aid, and relevant certifications preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of participants and staff.
