Banking Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a fast-growing, high-performing commercial bank in the search for a Market President•Central Ohio, based in the Columbus market. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending, market leadership, and business development, along with the ability to build strong internal teams and long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives within the Central Ohio market. Lead business development efforts through proactive networking, relationship building, and market visibility initiatives. Develop and manage a commercial loan portfolio with a strong emphasis on C&I relationships. Drive regional growth and profitability across Commercial Lending and Treasury Management functions. Provide direct leadership, coaching, and support to commercial banking teams within the market. Maintain strong credit quality standards across personal and team-managed portfolios. Collaborate with credit and portfolio management teams to structure and manage complex commercial transactions. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering strategic financial solutions and responsive service. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on accountability, growth, and client success. Attract, develop, and retain top banking talent to support long-term regional growth objectives.
Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience within Commercial Banking or Commercial Lending. Strong background in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) relationship development and portfolio management. Demonstrated success driving business development and market growth initiatives. Strong credit acumen and experience structuring commercial lending transactions. Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, relationship management, and presentation skills. Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. Job # 2229 Share
