Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Manager to lead and formalize the commercial estimating and quoting function within a growing Power Management service center. This individual will play a critical role in developing commercial strategy, improving operational efficiency, and driving revenue growth across both transactional and large project opportunities. The Commercial Manager will serve as a key liaison between customers, external sales representatives, operations, and leadership while building scalable processes that support continued business expansion. Develop and execute commercial strategies that support business growth and market expansion
Lead the estimating, quoting, and opportunity qualification process
Manage and forecast the commercial pipeline to drive revenue performance
Partner with external sales representatives and internal stakeholders to identify and develop opportunities
Establish and improve commercial processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and customer responsiveness
Collaborate with operations and service teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through ongoing commercial support and business development activities
Support both transactional sales opportunities and large, complex project pursuits
Identify growth opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
Track commercial performance metrics and drive accountability across the sales process
Mentor and develop team members while helping build the future commercial organization
Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational and commercial effectiveness
Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience preferred
5+ years of experience within the Power Management, Electrical Distribution, or Industrial Services industry required
Experience with an OEM, electrical equipment manufacturer, or third-party electrical service provider required
Proven experience managing commercial operations, estimating teams, inside sales teams, external sales organizations, or a combination thereof required
Strong background supporting large, complex project opportunities involving power distribution equipment and services required
Experience with estimating, quoting, and commercial strategy related to electrical equipment and service solutions required
Demonstrated success in both inside sales and customer-facing field sales or service environments required
Experience forecasting pipeline activity, managing opportunity flow, and driving commercial performance required
Ability to develop and implement processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability required
Strong business acumen with the ability to balance day-to-day execution and long-term strategic initiatives
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across customers, sales teams, operations, and leadership
Experience building, mentoring, and developing teams in a growing organization preferred
Manufacturing, remanufacturing, or service center operational experience preferred
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in an evolving environment
