Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to develop, manage, and grow a commercial lending portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring an existing commercial loan portfolio, a proven track record in business development, and strong expertise in commercial lending products and services. This role serves as a trusted advisor to business clients, driving loan production, relationship growth, and portfolio performance while ensuring exceptional client service throughout the lending process. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow a commercial loan portfolio through business development and relationship management. Originate, structure, and service commercial loan opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients, referral partners, and community organizations. Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the lending process. Identify opportunities to cross-sell financial products and services. Monitor and manage portfolio performance and credit quality. Stay current on commercial lending trends, regulations, and market conditions. Ensure compliance with all applicable lending policies and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications Existing commercial loan portfolio required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. 3-5 years of commercial or business lending experience within a financial services environment. Strong knowledge of commercial lending products, services, regulations, and underwriting practices. Demonstrated success in a sales-driven lending role with consistent production results. Excellent relationship-building, communication, and business development skills.
