  • Founder Brand & Media to build and manage a founder-led content platform from the ground up.
This is not a basic social media posting role. We are looking for someone who can take real business operations, HVAC training, field activity, leadership lessons, customer education, hiring, technician development, and founder knowledge — then turn it into consistent content across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and podcast platforms. The right person will help build the personal brand of the company founder while also strengthening the brands of Fast Response Heating & Cooling and Fast Response University. This role requires a strong writer, strong organizer, creative thinker, and content operator. You must be able to interview a busy founder, extract valuable ideas, coordinate filming, manage content calendars, work with videographers/editors, and make sure content gets published every week. We are not looking for someone to make generic posts or recycled social media content. We are building a real media platform around HVAC, home services, training, leadership, hiring, and business growth. Responsibilities Build and manage the weekly content calendar for the founder brand, Fast Response Heating & Cooling, and Fast Response University. Interview the company founder weekly to extract stories, lessons, business insights, training topics, and content ideas. Turn founder conversations into LinkedIn posts, video scripts, short-form clips, podcast topics, YouTube content, and social media posts. Coordinate with videographers, editors, designers, freelancers, or outside vendors to keep content moving. Help plan and manage a video-first podcast, including topics, outlines, recording schedules, guest prep, and clip creation. Create and organize content around HVAC education, home warranty work, technician training, customer service, hiring, leadership, business growth, and behind-the-scenes company operations. Help capture reality-style content inside the office, training facility, field operations, events, meetings, and service/business environments. Write strong, clear, direct content that sounds authentic and not overly corporate. Manage content across LinkedIn, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook, Facebook Reels, TikTok, and podcast platforms. Write captions, titles, descriptions, post copy, and basic content outlines. Organize raw footage, content ideas, approved posts, drafts, publishing schedules, and performance reports. Track weekly content output, engagement, follower growth, comments, shares, saves, watch time, leads, applicants, and business impact. Make sure private customer information, employee information, addresses, phone numbers, invoices, warranty IDs, and sensitive documents are protected or removed from content. Maintain brand consistency while keeping content real, useful, and authentic. Identify what content is working and continuously improve the strategy. Ideal Candidate The right candidate is a content operator, not just a social media poster.
You should be:
A strong writer. Highly organized. Comfortable working directly with a busy founder. Comfortable interviewing business owners, managers, technicians, installers, and team members. Comfortable around HVAC, trades, warehouses, trucks, training facilities, field operations, and blue-collar business environments. Able to turn rough conversations into clear, valuable content. Able to build systems instead of waiting for perfect instructions. Able to manage deadlines and keep people accountable. Familiar with LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and short-form video. Able to coordinate with videographers, editors, designers, and outside contractors. Comfortable working in a fast-moving, imperfect business environment. Direct, professional, creative, and self-managed. Required Experience 3+ years of experience in content marketing, media, social media strategy, personal branding, digital media, podcast production, journalism, or video content. Strong writing ability. Experience creating or managing short-form video content. Experience managing content calendars. Experience with LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. Ability to coordinate with editors, videographers, designers, or creative contractors. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work on-site in the Hilliard / Columbus, Ohio area. Portfolio, writing samples, video samples, or examples of content you have created or managed. Preferred Experience Experience building a founder-led brand or executive personal brand. Experience with YouTube channels, podcasts, or long-form video. Experience in trades, construction, home services, HVAC, real estate, business coaching, entrepreneurship, or blue-collar industries. Experience turning long-form video into short-form clips. Experience writing in someone else's voice. Experience using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Descript, Riverside, Frame.io, Notion, Monday.com, Airtable, Google Workspace, or similar platforms. What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days By the end of the first 90 days, this person should have: Built a weekly content calendar. Created a repeatable process for capturing founder and company content. Coordinated weekly filming or podcast recording. Helped launch or organize the founder-led media strategy. Published consistent content across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Turned founder interviews into usable posts, clips, and long-form content. Helped produce short-form videos from longer conversations. Built a system for organizing raw footage, approved content, ideas, and publishing schedules. Created a simple weekly reporting system. Identified the strongest content topics and formats. Created momentum around Fast Response, Fast Response University, and the founder's personal brand. This Role Is Not For You If You only want to make basic social media posts. You need perfect instructions before taking action. You are not a strong writer. You are uncomfortable around trades, technicians, installers, warehouses, or field operations. You cannot manage deadlines. You avoid accountability. You only want remote work. You are not comfortable working directly with a busy founder. You are not willing to build a system from the ground up. Compensation $85,000
  • 115,000 per year, based on experience, portfolio, and proven ability.
Performance-based bonus opportunity available after 90 days based on output, consistency, content quality, organization, and measurable brand growth.
