Film Crew - Assistant Director

In exchange, all crew members will receive a full production credit and portfolio-ready footage from a complete, polished production. Job Overview Looking for an assistant director to help bring this passion project to life! Don't Lose Hope is a new jukebox musical set to debut as a YouTube series. It covers uncomfortable topics such as domestic violence, sexual assault, mental health, and other taboo subjects. Scenes could be considered explicit or triggering, so be mindful of this before joining the team. You will be the director's right-hand person; the on-set manager. Coordinate schedules and keep the set running smoothly. Films/directs using the lead director's original vision when the director is unable to be on set. Gives the director feedback on things that may or may not be working. Duties Attend all meetings and keep record of notes and changes Work closely with the Director to understand the film's vision and direction Fill in on filming days when Director is unavailable Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines, schedule sessions and filming, and reinforce the director's vision. Give positive, honest, feedback as needed. Qualifications Passionate Determined Creative Communicative Team Player
