Job Description

The Assistant Director of Paid Media & Marketing is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing visual/digital media advertising and integrated marketing campaigns that support the university's strategic goals. This role drives audience growth, brand awareness, and student recruitment through targeted, data-informed marketing efforts across digital and social platforms. Working closely with campus partners and the Marketing and Communications team, the position ensures campaigns are aligned, effective, and reflective of the Lander brand. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, business, or a related field is required. Candidates should have three to five years of experience in digital marketing, paid media, or campaign management, including hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads and Meta. A valid driver's license, safe driving history, and a strong commitment to customer service and ethical practices are also required. Strong knowledge of digital platforms and tools supporting visual and digital communications, including campaign execution, audience targeting, budgeting, and performance optimization. Ability to analyze data, interpret performance across social, web, and multimedia efforts. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, oversee digital assets and social media equipment, guide and coach social media content creators, and ensure all visual and digital efforts align with the agency's communications strategy while staying current on emerging trends and technologies.
