Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, FCD, this role will lead the design and implementation of commercial excellence priorities that strengthen pricing, pipeline management, forecasting, channel effectiveness, value-based selling, and sales process consistency across the global sales organization. This role is both strategic and execution-focused, with success dependent on driving strong adoption of our Commercial Excellence playbook within the sales team and embedding practical, scalable ways of working that deliver measurable results. Operating independently within FCD while aligned with enterprise commercial excellence priorities, this leader will partner across sales, product management, operations, and finance to improve commercial performance across the division. The role will begin as an individual contributor and is expected to build the commercial excellence capability and team for FCD over time. Key Responsibilities Develop and lead execution of FCD's commercial excellence roadmap to improve go-to-market performance and support profitable growth. Drive adoption of commercial tools, processes, and performance routines across the global sales organization to increase execution consistency and sales effectiveness. Enhance sales productivity through stronger pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, opportunity prioritization, and account planning. Strengthen pricing discipline, margin performance, and value-based selling practices across the division. Standardize, simplify, and continuously improve core sales and commercial processes to enable scalable execution and accountability. Define and manage key commercial performance metrics, dashboards, and operating cadences to track adoption, measure impact, and identify improvement opportunities. Build the foundation for a long-term commercial excellence capability within FCD, partnering cross-functionally to lead change and establish the future team structure. Team Historically, this role has been an individual contributor, but going forward this leader is expected to build a small team of 2 - 3 individuals to start. Reports To VP Sales, FCD Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of experience in commercial strategy, pricing, or sales excellence roles within industrial, manufacturing or consulting industries Proven track record leading global commercial transformation initiatives across multiple geographies and business models Deep expertise in pricing, channel management, offer bundling, and monetization models Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning skills Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing capabilities Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred Location Irving, TX
