Video Director Date Posted April 08, 2026 Job ID 14424 Employment Type Direct Hire Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Video Director for a highly regarded marketing agency. This is a full-time, permanent, remote role with extensive travel across the U.S.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Video Director will lead on-site video production for client engagements, traveling to locations nationwide to capture high-quality marketing and educational content. This is a highly client-facing role that blends videography, production leadership, and relationship management. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and personable—someone who can confidently run shoot days, create a seamless client experience, and deliver consistent, high-quality results across diverse environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Travel to client sites across the U.S. (approximately 3-4 days per week, 3 weeks per month) to lead video production Capture professional video content, managing camera, lighting, and audio setup Lead on-site shoot days, ensuring a smooth, organized, and positive client experience Serve as the primary point of contact during filming, representing the company with professionalism and care Maintain organization across travel logistics, shoot schedules, and equipment Adapt to varying locations and environments while delivering consistent production quality Collaborate with internal team members to ensure alignment on project goals and execution Participate in initial training and onboarding alongside the existing production team Support the potential hiring and onboarding of a future production assistant as the role scales
QUALIFICATIONS
3-5+ years of experience in video production, videography, or a related field (flexible based on fit) Strong technical skills in filming, lighting, and audio production Experience working in client-facing environments with a professional, service-oriented approach Highly organized with the ability to manage travel, logistics, and multiple projects simultaneously Comfortable with a travel-heavy schedule and adaptable to changing environments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in an agency, production company, or client services environment
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This role offers a competitive base salary of $50,000-$70,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. All travel expenses are fully covered. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
